The Inkwell Rhythm Makers were born out of the the Sour Mash Hug Band sometime in 2003 or 2004.
The bands sound came from a crossing over from Crust into old Blues, Jazz, And Hillbilly.
They Traveled the west coast in a red van called the "Nard-Mobile"; playing shows and collaborating with bands from a small emerging scene of underground acoustic music
